LOLER Inspections
Sixth Monthly inspections will be carried out by one of our qualified engineers. Access platforms are designed to help people work at height safely, UK Government legislation states that the employer or owner is responsible for any lifting equipment on site and is legally obliged to maintain it in a safe working condition for the operator.
All lifts are subject to regular examination similar to a cars MOT.
A detailed examination of every access platform that you own or operate on. We will produce a written report identifying whether or not the equipment is safe for use, and any advice on defects found that need to be corrected. This legislation is called the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 98 (LOLER) This will include the following:
- Examination Date
- Date when the next examination is due
- Any defects
